I am Jayarathina Madharasan. Y (pronounced /ʤɛ̝ɪ̯ʌɾʌt̪t̪ɪn̺ə mɑ:ðʌɾʌsʌn̺/)

I hold a master's degree in Computer Applications from Pondicherry University.

I created this site just for fun. I wanted a place to express my thoughts, get in touch with my friends and to list out my projects. I use this site as a playground for my web projects and a way in which I might help those people who might face the same problems in programming as I did.

I am not a great achiever or any great personality for the outside world to own a site, but definitely I will become one in the future, at that time this site may come handy

My motto in life is to be the best of what ever I am.

Its difficult to build a website page, its even more difficult to build a page about yourself. I can't say who I am but I can definitely say what I think I am:

I am very sensitive and can easily get hurt. I am very bad in selecting friends, After lots of heart breaks I understood that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change and that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I am a Freelance Programmer, I love programming. I put all my genius into my life; I put only my talent into my works. I have done some programs and uploaded them to planetsourcecode.com as open source code which might be helpful to naïve programmers. You can see the link to those codes at labs section of this site.

I am a designer, I love desktop publishing, yes its odd to hear and you think its very simple, but I bet not even 5% of the so called IT professionals know how to design a document “efficiently” in a word processing software they use. According to me, it is an art.

I want to Live to make an impact! There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened. I want to be in the first type. I could be the best dancer, the best writer, the best cricketer, the best student, the best whatever it was that I wanted to be, and I will be. One of my drawback is that once I start something I just can't stop until I'm absolutely finished.

I am a Catholic Christian, not your average catholic. I am very much interested in Catholic Theology. My patron saint is St. Joseph. I am named after Our Lady of Madharasi, Nagapattinam. One of my favorite quote by His Holiness Pope Benedict is

Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction._{(DEUS CARITAS EST - God Is Love 1:2)}

It’s not easy to be me: Madharasan, I firmly believe that no one in this world can play my role better than me and I am here with a purpose.
