Just finished reading How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships By Leil Lowndes.

A good book. A must read as a sequel for “How to win friends and influence people“. Dale Carnegie says ‘what to do‘ and Leil Lowndes helps you with ‘how to do it‘.

Some of my friends has told me that they felt hostile around me when they first met me. But later they really liked me a lot (after getting to know me). I guess this was because I was that I am not a good bad communicator. I hate to start a conversation. And in a party I would stand in a corner alone silently sipping my coffee and waiting for my friends to arrive. If you are anything like me, then this book is for you. Got lots of tips and tricks from this book. Even though most of them were already known to me, some of them were quite useful. I will try to implement them in the future.

A word of warning: If you are a natural communicator, have lots of friends, and people love to have you around, then you don’t need this book at all. Don’t waste your time. Otherwise, you’ll enjoy having it.
